Refunds

Partial reimbursement due to cancellations or booking variations will be received within 30 days upon confirmation of by Italy Travels to the client who has requested, in written form, the cancellation. Bank fees are issued to the client. Credit card payments will be refunded directly back to the client's credit card. If payment was sent by bank transfer, Italy Travels will provide refund through bank transfer. It will be client responsability to provide precise bank account details to Italy Travels, in written form. Bank fees (for Italian or foreign bank transfers) are issued to the client and will be taken from the reimbursement amount.

In all cases, cancellations must be requested in written form by email or fax in order to receive a partial refund (according to the below cancellation policy). The date of the cancellation request is the day when the request is received by Italy Travels in written form. For this reason, valid cancellation requests will not be accepted by phone unless accompanied by a written document.

The cancellation policy varies depending on the type of the requested service.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

STATE MUSEUMS AND EXHIBITION TICKETS

From the reservation date up to 5 days before the day of the visit, the cancellation fee is € 8.00 per ticket. For cancellations requested 4 days or less before the tour date, or in case of no-show, no reimbursement will be granted.

VATICAN MUSEUMS TICKETS

Please note: Vatican Museums tickets are non-refundable in any case.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR PRIVATE GUIDED TOURS

From reservation day up to 4 days before the tour date, the cancellation fee is 30% of the total tour price. 
For cancellations requested 3 days or less before the tour date, no reimbursement will be granted.
 The cancellation policy will be applied proportionally to the number of cancelled tour participants.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR GUIDED GROUP TOURS (regular tours)

From reservation day up to 9 days before the tour date, the cancellation fee is 10% of the total tour price. For cancellations requested 8 to 4 days in advance, the cancellation fee will be 30% of the total tour price. For cancellations requested 3 days or less before the tour date, no reimbursment will be granted.

Please note: the Hypogeum tours, the Colosseum under the moon tour and all other group tours on the Colosseum cannot be cancelled in any case. No refund will be granted.
