Your journey begins at Santa Maria del Popolo, in the beautiful Piazza del Popolo, where you will discover The Conversion of Saint Paul and The Crucifixion of Saint Peter, two of the artist’s most powerful religious paintings.
From there, you will enjoy a pleasant 10-minute walk to the Church of Sant’Agostino, home to the magnificent Madonna of the Pilgrims, one of Caravaggio’s most admired altarpieces.
Finally, just a short walk away, you will reach San Luigi dei Francesi, where you will admire the extraordinary cycle dedicated to Saint Matthew: The Calling of Saint Matthew, The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew, and Saint Matthew and the Angel.
