WHERE THE PANTHEON IS LOCATED
The Pantheon is located in Piazza della Rotonda in Rome, a few steps from Piazza Navona, in the beating heart of the capital. Today it is a basilica consecrated to the cult of the Catholic religion but was born in ancient times as a temple dedicated to the pagan Roman gods.

THE MONUMENT
Like the exterior of the Pantheon, the interior of the building is also extremely impressive and interesting. The rich decorations, the incredible coffered vault at the apex of which the enigmatic oculus is set, the richly decorated walls, perfectly in harmony with the entire construction, are a wonder to be discovered, an experience certainly to be put on the calendar if you visit Rome. The circular structure of the central body contrasts with the series of Corinthian columns of classic style, surmounted by the pediment typical of Greek temples. One of the most characteristic elements is the dome, famous for the presence of the oculus on the top and for its internal decoration that you can admire by finishing your tour inside the building.
