Private Colosseum & Roman Forum Tour

Starting Time: from 8:30 am, at your preferred time. During the winter season, the latest available starting time is 1:00 pm; from spring onwards, tours may start as late as 3:00 pm.
The price includes: a 3-hour private guided tour, reserved entry tickets to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and headsets for groups of more than 10 participants, ensuring everyone can comfortably follow the guide’s commentary.
Important Information
This is a walking tour, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and suitable walking shoes.
In case of rain, please bring appropriate waterproof clothing or an umbrella.
Children under 6 years of age join the tour free of charge.
Please note that some paths within the archaeological areas are uneven and unpaved, so comfortable footwear is strongly recommended.
Private Colosseum & Roman Forum Tour Itinerary
This 3-hour private tour can be customized to suit your interests and preferences.
Accompanied by an expert licensed guide, you’ll explore the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, retracing the history of Ancient Rome through its most iconic monuments. Your tour includes reserved timed-entry tickets, allowing you to enter the Colosseum without waiting at the ticket office. (Please note that access to the Underground is not included.)
The experience begins at the Colosseum, the world-famous symbol of Rome and one of the greatest amphitheatres ever built. As you explore the first and second tiers, your guide will reveal the history of the Flavian Amphitheatre, explain its remarkable architecture and describe the spectacular events that once took place within its walls.
The tour then continues to the Roman Forum, the political, religious and commercial heart of the Roman Empire. Walking among ancient temples, basilicas and historic streets, you’ll discover how public life unfolded in Ancient Rome while admiring remarkable monuments such as the Arch of Titus and the Arch of Constantine, two of the finest preserved triumphal arches from the Roman era.
If requested by visitors and time permits, the tour may also include a brief visit to Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome and one of the city’s most panoramic archaeological sites.
