By this reservation you will be able to visit the Colosseum by accessing from the Stern Sperone directly onto the Arena floor at the reserved time. The visit to the Colosseum lasts approximately 20 minutes. From the Arena it is therefore possible to admire the interior of the Colosseum in its majesty from an unusual perspective. The exit is always expected from the Stern Spur after about 20 minutes.
With the same booking it is possible to visit the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill and Palatine Museum, the Roman Forum Museum, the Domus Tiberiana and the S.U.P.E.R. sites on the same day, (archaeological sites of the Imperial Forums compatible with sites open to visitors). Furthermore, together with the entrance ticket you will be able to discover the archaeological wonders of Rome and beyond, planning your stay in the capital in the best possible way by your Travel App, a multimedia file to download on your mobile device. CANCELLATION
Entrance to the Colosseum & Archaeological Park is a nominative ticket. You must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time to enter the Colosseum. Visitors who arrive late or who do not show up, will not be able to access the site and will not receive any refund, even partial. Once this reservation has been completed, it will no longer be possible to modify or cancel the reservation itself.
For this reason it is recommended to pay maximum attention when booking online, when choosing the date, time and type of tickets, and when entering names.
If entry ticket is lost, it will not be possible to access the monuments or request duplicates.
USEFUL INFO
Inside the sites, it is not possible to bring backpacks, suitcases or large bags, (maximum dimensions allowed 30x40x15). There is no luggage storage at the Colosseum. Animals not allowed inside the Colosseum.
The ticket allows access to each site only 1 time.
*VISITORS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE - Minors under 12 years of age may access the Colosseum and the other sites of the Archaeological Park only if accompanied by an adult in possession of a regular entrance ticket. Access of visitors 12-18 years old is permitted, but at the exclusive responsibility and risk of the parents.
IMPORTANT - Don't forget to bring a valid identity document or passport (one per person).
You must go through security checks at the metal detectors. The wait for these mandatory procedures cannot be avoided.
For safety reasons, the Colosseum can hold a maximum of 3,000 people at a time. This rule may cause delays in entering the site even for booked visitors. As such, the end client's entry to the site at the booked time cannot be guaranteed.
Italy Travels is not responsible for any partial closure of rooms, itinerary changes, cancellations or delays in entry due to force majeure, adverse weather, personnel strikes, or decisions made by the management of the museum or the Superintendency.
Handicapped visitors
Disabled People and one accompanying person enter free and do not need any reservation. Documents attesting disability will be asked at the entrance.
Description of your booking
Your reservation to visit the Colosseum grants access to one of the most visited monuments in the world, limiting the times of entry procedures.
Book your visit online, choose the date and time of entry to the Colosseum. You will immediately receive a copy of the order you placed via email. Your voucher and all documentation will be emailed to you at a later time. If you place your order after 5pm, you will have to wait until the next morning to receive this documentation or to receive an email from booking office informing you when you will receive the vouchers.
All instructions will be on your voucher.
Once you pass the turnstiles, you will have to go through security checks at the metal detector.
You will be able to visit the other mentioned above archaeological sites with the same entrance ticket, on the same day, and in any case even before having entered the Colosseum.
Attention, the time you booked refers to the Colosseum entry. Maximum punctuality is recommended. Show up at least 15/20 minutes early to enter the Colosseum. If you arrive late you will lose the right to use the ticket and you will not be able to obtain a refund.
Inside the Colosseum you can admire the entire structure directly from the Arena floor by accessing the Stern Spur at the booked time and staying for 20 minutes. The exit is always scheduled from the Stern Sperone. You will be able to take photos and make videos, but you will not be able to use professional filming and photography equipment. This reservation does not include access to the upper tiers.
You will also receive a guide in PDF format which describes the Colosseum, its history, its architectural features, the main attractions of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Museum (which you can visit at your choice by purchasing another ticket on site). The guide will help you orient yourself during your tour. To best plan your stay in Rome, you will get the Rome Travel App (multimedial experince). The app can be dowloaded on any mobile device. You will be able to manage the multimedia contents of the Travel app at your discretion without time limits
