The tour includes a guided tour of all the rooms open of the museum with particular regard to the most important works. The tour also includes a guided tour of the exterior of Villa Giulia. Built by Pope Julius III during the years of his pontificate, between 1550 and 1555, it is a splendid example of Renaissance villa, built as a suburban villa, like other complex of sixteenth century Rome and its neighborhoods. As in the villas of antiquity a residential building, relatively small, it was inseparable from the garden: a garden architectonically built, with scenic terraces connected by stairways, nymphs and fountains adorned with sculptures.
