A fascinating guided tour to discover the most beautiful Basilicas of the Christian era in Rome (Basilica of Saint Mary Major and Archbasilica of St. John Lateran) and of the Catacombs; the ancient underground cemeteries, hideout of the Christian martyrs. The Basilicas cannot be visited on the mornings of religious holidays.

Price includes: private guide service (about 3 hours), earphones to facilitate listening to the explanation of the guide for groups of more than 10 visitors. The price does NOT include the taxi transfer from St. John Lateran to the Catacombs.
The Catacombs that can be visited are St. Callixtus (also known as the Cemetery of Callixtus), or alternatively the Catacombs of Domitilla, depending on the daily availability and the weekly closing days.
