DURATION: about 3 hours
AVAILABILITY: every Friday evening, from May to 31 October.
TOUR STARTING TIME: 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm on your choice.
TOUR DESCRIPTION: you will visit the main sections of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel together with an expert guide. The tour itinerary includes: the Cortile della Pigna, the Pio Clementino museum, the upper floor Galleries (Candelabri, Arazzi e Carte Geografiche), the Raphael Rooms, the Sistine Chapel,the Library Galleries.
On request, you can ask your guide to stay inside the Vatican Museums for 2 hours instead of 3 hours and then move to Piazza San Pietro to visit the St. Peter's Basilica (only from the exterior, the Basilica is closed in the evening) and Bernini's Colonnade, both illuminated during the night.
NOTES: headphones to hear the guide explanation in a more confortable way are included for groups with more than 10 participants. Tour itinerary can be personalized according to visitors' request.
