A single ticket for admission to the Roman Forum, the Palatine Museum, the House of Livia, the House of Augustus, the Neronian Cryptoporticus, the Temple of Romulus and much more.

This booking gives you an open ticket (no booked times) that is valid for 1 day. The ticket allows you a single admission to the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill area, and the Palatine Museum.
The following "Super sites are also included in the ticket, all of which are in the archaeological area of the Roman Forum: House of Livia, House of Augustus, the Neronian Cryptoporticus, Isiaca Hall / Loggia Mattei, Santa Maria Antiqua and Oratory of the Forty Martyrs, Temple of Romulus. All sites on the ticket are between the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, so easy to reach on foot. These sites can accommodate a maximum number of visitors at a time, which means you may need to wait for visitors to leave before entering.
The ticket includes guaranteed entrance to the Roman Forum and the Palatine Museum. If you cannot get into one or more of the "Super Sites" due to long waits or temporary closures, no refund will be given.

Not included: Admission to the Colosseum, skip-the-line admission to the Roman Forum (never bookable).

Once the on-line booking is completed, tickets cannot be modified or cancelled.You cannot modify either the date of the visit, or the reserved entrance time and the type of ticket (full, half price and free ticket) for any reason. Therefore we recommend to pay attention during reservation procedure.

The Palatine Museum

The Palatine Museum on the hill of the same name, in Via di San Gregorio 30, was built on the ruins of the palace of Emperor Domitian.
The museum is open daily from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm (October-March) and from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm (April-September). The estimated tour time is about an hour.
The exhibition route covers two floors. The ground floor tells the history of the Palatine Hill from its Roman origins to the Principality of Octavian Augustus, until about the first century BC. The exhibition spaces were made conserving the original structure of the ancient domus. On the first floor, you can admire many Roman artifacts dating from the period of Augustus and after. The mosaics and extraordinary paintings from Nero's Domus Transitoria are absolute must-sees. 

The Roman Forum

The Roman Forum is in the center of the Fori Imperiali area on Largo della Salaria Vecchia. It is open at different times depending on the season: From January to March and from October to December, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. From April to the end of September, 8:30 am – 7:00 pm. The ticket office closes an hour in advance. Some times of the year, the hours may be extended. The recommended tour time is approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The Roman Forum is the only of the Imperial Forums that can be toured on foot. The others can be seen only from outside, admiring them from terraces. The Roman Forum in its present form is the sum of buildings constructed over the centuries by many different emperors. The Forum was the undisputed center of political power in Rome and the city's administrative center in imperial times, including the remains of many edifices, temples (including the Temple of Romulus, admission included on this ticket), triumphal arches and amazing celebratory columns, some of which are very well preserved. This site is only partially accessible to those with movement disabilities.

The House of Livia

The House of Livia is on the Palatine Hill and is open to visitors everyday except Monday, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm (exit at 1:00 pm) from October to March. From April to September the site is open and from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm (exit at 2:00 pm). The recommended tour time is approx. 30 minutes. Maximum indoor capacity is 23 visitors. Many visitors come to the rooms of this Roman home, built around 30 BC, to admire the magnificent polychrome frescoes adorning the rooms' walls and especially those called Tablinum and the Triclinium. A sequence of evocative frescoes depicts mythological scenes and three-dimensional decorations. Note: This site is not accessible to those with movement disabilities.

The House of Augusto

The House of Augustus, also built on the Palatine Hill, is open to visitors everyday except Monday, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm (exit at 1:00 pm) from October to March. From April to September the site is open and from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm (exit at 2:00 pm). The recommended tour time is approx. 40 minutes. Maximum indoor capacity is 23 visitors. Note: This site is not accessible to those with movement disabilities.

The House of Augustus was a turning point in the architecture of ancient Rome, just as Augustus, though he was never formally emperor, marks the beginning of the imperial era. This house is also considered "imperial" for its beautiful elaborate decorations of polychrome frescoes. These exceptional frescoes have recently been restored. In Augustan decorative taste, the paintings depict surreal, fantastic images with illusory effects in which dazzling color dominates over the design. The many rooms that can now be accessed include the "Room of the Pine Festoons" and the "Room of the Masks."

The Neronian Cryptoporticus

The Neronian Criptoporticus, about 130 meters long, was once part of the Domus Tiberiana on the Palatine Hill. The underground corridor from the Neronian period is lit by small loophole windows. This unique, evocative space still has its mosaic floors, and, on the ceiling, wecan see a lavish stucco decoration and a coffered ceiling adorned with plant and cupid decorations. This is a copy; the original is kept at the Palatine Museum.

Aula Isiaca and Loggia Mattei

The Aula Isiaca is an underground room under the Dumus Flavia. This room has barrel vault ceilings featuring elaborate frescoes and was part of the Augustus's grand home on the Palatine Hill. It was named Aula Isiaca because of the many allusions to the decoration of Egypt and the goddess Isis, such as lotus flowers, snakes, ritual vases, and rose garlands. In the room, we can also see paintings of the Renaissance loggia of Villa Stati, which Baldassarre Peruzzi painted in the 1520s. In 1561, the Mattei family took over ownership. The site is open everyday except Monday, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm (exit at 1:00 pm) from October to March. Santa Maria Antiqua and the Oratory of the Forty Martyrs

The church of Santa Maria, discovered in 1900 on the slopes the Palatine Hill, features frescoes of different eras, dating from the 6th century to the 9th century, some especially well-preserved. The Oratory is of particular interest because richly frescoed with 8th-century paintings depicting Diocletian's persecution of Christians. It is closed on Friday. This site is open from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm from October to March and from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm from April to September. This site is notaccessible to those with movement disabilities.

The Temple of Romulus is inside the Roman Forum. It is closed on Friday. This site is open from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm from October to March and from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm from April to September.
